Captain Mark A. Cline, USCG Masters 100 GT
With over 40 years of experience, Captain Mark Cline was born and raised in Rhode Island where he grew up around the family boats and taught sailing at the East Greenwich Yacht Club. By age 14, he successfully passed all of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary exams and was racing sailboats on Narragansett Bay. Grateful to his Dad for all teaching him navigation, yacht maintenance, and mechanics, Mark earned his US Coast Guard Captain License (50GT Masters) in 2011 and completed several yacht deliveries including off-shore voyages to the Bahamas. In addition to professional captain services, he currently provides yacht management services in the Annapolis area along with yacht interiors and canvas repair. After owning several sailboats over the past 25 years, Captain Mark currently enjoys cruising the Atlantic coast aboard a Cape Dory 28. Look for Brandywine on the Atlantic ICW and say hello!
